In this photographic series, a doll undergoes a visual transformation—its height elongated through the expansion of its clothing. At its smallest, the doll wears a colorful fringe, a playful canopy adorned with vibrant elements. As the figure grows, this decorative covering is lost. This transition explores the poetic tension between growth and loss. The larger the figure becomes, the more it sheds the joyful weight of its past. The canopy, once a symbol of innocence, imagination, and sensory abundance, no longer fits the expanded form. What is gained in stature is paid for with a quiet emptiness—a reminder that in growing up, we often leave behind the very things that once defined our wonder.
